Toast Lab Awarded the Best Paper at HPDC 2026
Recently, our paper titled "Pome: Parallelizing I/Os and Computations for Efficient LSM-tree-based Data Storage" was accepted by the 35th ACM International Symposium on High-Performance Parallel and Distributed Computing (HPDC 2026). Later it was nominated as one of three candidates for the Best Paper Award. During the conference, our paper eventually won the award (1 out of 281 submissions).
This paper was solely done by Toast Labmates. It has been online. The source code is also available.
